FEEDING KITTENS: Start your kittens on H-E-B® TEXAS PETS® Kitten Cat Food as early as they begin to nibble on solid foods (usually 3 to 5 weeks). Keep moistened food available to kittens at all times. After weaning at 6 - 8 weeks of age, kittens will normally eat dry or moistened food at will. If water is added, use no more than one-part warm (not hot) liquid to three parts food, changing frequently to ensure freshness. Feeding amounts should be adjusted to maintain ideal weight. ADULT CATS: Feed adult cats weighing 5 to 9 lbs 1/2 to 3/4 cup per day. Cats weighing 10 to 15 lbs will consume 3/4 to 1 cup per day. Adjust the daily amount to maintain ideal weight. GESTATION AND LACTATION: Consumption will vary; therefore, feed the amount required to maintain good body condition. It may be necessary to have available at all times.
