Contains: WHEAT, SOY. Store in a cool, dry place.- Stovetop: In a frying pan, brown the rice and vermicelli blend with 2 Tbsp butter or olive oil. Stir until vermicelli is light brown. Add 2 cups of hot water and stir in seasoning pack and 14.5 oz can of diced tomatoes (if desired). Bring to boil. Cover, reduce heat to low, and simmer for 20 - 25 minutes or until all water is absorbed. Remove from heat and let stand for 5 minutes. Fluff with fork and serve.
Microwave: In a 1.5-quart microwave-safe dish, combine the rice and vermicelli blend with 2 Tbsp butter or margarine. Microwave on HIGH until vermicelli is light brown, about 2 minutes. Stir in 2.5 cups hot water, seasoning packet and 14.5 oz can of diced tomatoes (if desired). Microwave on HIGH until boiling, about 3 minutes. Cover and simmer at 50% power for 15 minutes. Let stand for 5 minutes. Fluff with a fork and serve.
