Allergens and safety warnings
Do not use large size oven bag for more than 8 lbs. of food. Max temperature: 400°F for 6 hours.
CAUTION: Use care when opening the bag. A large amount of hot steam will escape.
DO NOT USE WITH COUNTERTOP ELECTRIC ROASTER OVENS.
Step 1: Preheat oven to 350°F for turkeys, 325°F for roasts. Do not exceed 400 °F for 6 hours. Coat inside of bag with 1 tbsp. flour to prevent bag from bursting. Place bag in roasting pan at least 2" deep.
Step 2: Place poultry or meat in bag and close bag with tie provided. Use fork to puncture 6 to 8 holes in top of bag to allow steam to escape. Tuck ends of bag into pan.
Step 3: Place pan in oven, allowing room for bag to expand without touching heating elements, walls, or racks. Do not allow bag to hang over pan. Bake according to recipe.
Step 4: To serve, carefully cut open top of bag. Always support bag by keeping it in pan.
