  • Dampen brisket with water or oil and apply brisket rub generously on all sides. Refrigerate overnight for maximum flavor and tenderness. Bake covered in oven for 6 hours at 225˚F or BBQ over a low fire for 8 - 12 hours until tender (minimum 175°F internal temperature).
