KEEP IN A COOL, DRY PLACE LOT NUMBER AND BEST BY DATE: ON PACKAGE Contains: WHEAT, MILK, SOY, PECANS- Cooking Instructions YOU WILL NEED CAKE 8 Tbsp. Salted Butter, cut into ½"" cubes 2 Large Eggs, at room temperature 3/4 Cup Whole Milk PECAN PRALINE FROSTING 6 Tbsp. Salted Butter, softened 1/3 Cup Heavy Cream (Optional: Whole Milk can be used in replacement of Heavy Cream) DIRECTIONS Prep Time: 30 minutes Cook Time: 35 - 45 minutes CAKE 1. Preheat oven to 350 °F and grease or spray a 9 ""x 13"" baking pan; set aside. 2. Combine butter and milk in a medium-sized saucepan and heat on medium until butter has melted. Remove from heat and set aside. 3. Place eggs in a medium-sized bowl and beat eggs until frothy with a hand mixer or whisk. 4. Add Cake Mix (packet included) to beaten eggs and fold ingredients in with spatula. 5. Add warmed milk and butter mixture and mix until combined. 6. Spread batter evenly into the prepared pan. 7. Bake for 27 - 33 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean when inserted into the cake. FROSTING 1. Start making frosting once cake is removed from the oven. 2. Combine butter, heavy cream, and brown sugar (packet included) in a medium-sized saucepan. Heat on medium heat. Once mixture begins to bubble, reduce heat and allow to simmer for 5 minutes, stirring often. 3. Remove from heat and pour Frosting Mix (packet included) into the saucepan. Blend ingredients together using a hand mixer until the frosting is smooth. 4. Fold pecan pieces (packet included) into icing with spatula. 5. Spread frosting onto warm cake and allow to rest for at least 10 min. Cake is best served warm.
