Keep refrigerated. Ready to cook.- Stovetop: Add meat and 8 cups of water to an 8-quart stock pot over medium heat. Slowly bring to a simmer. Skim gray foam from top until broth is clear. Add vegetables to the stock pot along with the seasoning packet. Simmer, covered, over low heat for 1 hour or until meat is tender and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.
