Keep Refrigerated or Frozen. Thaw in refrigerator or microwave. Keep raw meat and poultry separate from other foods. Wash working surfaces (including cutting boards), utensils, and hands after touching raw meat or poultry. Cook thoroughly. Keep hot foods hot. Refrigerate leftovers immediately or discard.- Heat charcoal for 40 minutes until ash-covered or preheat gas grill for 10 minutes with lid closed. Cook patties for 5 minutes per side over medium-low heat (325°F). Bank coals on one half of grill or reduce gas heat to low. Move patties to the cool side (indirect heat), close lid and cook for 5 - 7 minutes per side or until internal temperature reaches 160°F.
