Safe Handling: Perishable. Keep refrigerated.- Oven: Preheat oven to 300°F. Season roast and place bone-side down in shallow roasting pan. Cook uncovered in center of the oven for 15 - 18 minutes per pound. Remove from oven when meat thermometer in center of roast reaches 135°F. For a juicier roast, let rest for 20 minutes before carving.
