Contains: WHEAT. Do not eat raw dough. Keep in a cool, dry place.- How to Make Tortillas:
For 12 tortillas: 2 cups mix + ½ cup warm water
For 24 tortillas: 4 cups mix + 1 cup warm water
For 36 tortillas: 6 cups mix + 1-½ cups warm water
Pour warm water into a bowl and add flour tortilla mix (see above amounts). Mix together with fork until dough forms a ball. If dough is dry, add 1 tsp of water. Knead dough for 5 – 6 minutes. If dough is sticky, add a little more tortilla mix. Place kneaded dough in a bowl and cover with plastic wrap or a lightly damp cloth to prevent drying of dough. Let dough stand for 20 minutes.
Shape dough into 1" – 1-½" balls. Place back into covered bowl to prevent drying. Preheat ungreased griddle or comal until very hot (450°F). Roll out each dough ball to form a circle (approximately 6" in diameter). Cook for 30 – 35 seconds on each side. Turn over again and cook for 15 – 20 more seconds. Stack cooked tortillas together and cover to keep warm.
