Corn.Allergens and safety warnings
Keep frozen at 0°F or below. For safety and quality, cook vegetables to 165°F prior to consumption.- Stovetop:
Bring water to a boil. Carefully place frozen cobs of corn into boiling water; bring to a second boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 3 - 4 minutes or until tender. Remove from heat; let corn stand in hot water an additional 4 - 5 minutes before serving. Season to taste. Do not overcook. For 1 - 2 cobs, use 1 quart water. For 3 - 4 cobs, use 2 quarts water. For 6 cobs, use 4 quarts water.
Microwave:
Place a single layer of corn in a microwave-safe dish. Cover with plastic wrap and cook on HIGH power. Rotate ears halfway through cooking time. Let stand uncovered for 2 - 3 minutes before serving. Season to taste. Do not overcook.
Cooking Times: For 1 cob: 2 minutes; 2 cobs: 3 minutes; 3 cobs: 4 minutes; 4 cobs: 5 minutes; 6 cobs: 7 minutes. Microwaves do vary; adjust cooking time as necessary.
