Corn.Allergens and safety warnings
Keep frozen at 0°F or below.- Stovetop:
Bring water to a boil. Carefully place frozen corn on the cob into boiling water and bring to a second boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 3 - 4 minutes or until tender. Remove from heat and let corn stand in hot water for an additional 4 - 5 minutes before serving. Season to taste. Do not overcook.
For 1 - 2 cobs: Use 1 quart water
For 3 - 4 cobs: Use 2 quarts water
For 6 cobs: Use 4 quarts water
Microwave:
Place a single layer of corn in a microwave-safe dish. Cover with plastic wrap and cook on HIGH. Rotate corn halfway through cooking time. Let stand uncovered for 2 - 3 minutes before serving. Season to taste. Do not overcook.
1 cob: 2 minutes
2 cobs: 3 minutes
3 cobs: 4 minutes
4 cobs: 5 minutes
6 cobs: 7 minutes
