Ingredients
Soybeans.Allergens and safety warnings
Contains: SOY. Keep frozen.- Microwave (recommended method):
Do not open, cut or pierce the bag. As edamame cooks, the bag will rise and swell as steam forms. Once removed from the microwave, the bag will soon deflate.
Place bag in the microwave. Microwave on HIGH for 5 - 6 minutes or to desired tenderness. Contents will be hot. Carefully remove edamame from bag. Gently squeeze pods and remove the beans. Discard shells. Microwaves do vary; cooking time may need adjustment.
Stovetop:
Bring 2 cups of water and 1 tsp salt to a boil in a large pot. Carefully add edamame and return to a boil. Cook uncovered for 2 - 3 minutes, stirring occasionally. Drain and let cool. Gently squeeze pods, remove the beans and discard shells.
