    Keep frozen at 0°F or below.
  • Stovetop:
    Bring 1/2 cup water to boil over high heat. Add frozen squash and quickly return to a boil. Cover, reduce heat and simmer for 8 - 10 minutes or to desired tenderness. Drain and season to taste. Do not overcook.

    Microwave:
    To cook half package: Place frozen squash and 1 Tbsp water in a microwave-safe bowl and cover with plastic wrap. Cook on HIGH for 7 - 8 minutes, stirring halfway through cooking time. Drain and season to taste. To cook the whole package, use 2 Tbsp water and cook for 8 - 9 minutes, stirring halfway through cooking time. Microwaves do vary. Adjust cooking times as necessary.
