Smoky Bacon Maple Butter Dipping Sauce
1 cup bacon, diced small
2 cups maple syrup
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 oz unsalted butter (half stick)
In a sauté pan over medium heat, add bacon and cook until crispy. Drain fat into a dish but keep bacon in the pan. Add maple syrup, vanilla, butter and 1 Tbsp of bacon fat. Whisk together and bring to a simmer. Continue cooking, whisking intermittently, until sauce has thickened slightly. Remove from heat and allow to cool until warm. Serve with hashbrown sticks and enjoy.

Keep frozen. Do not refreeze. For best results, cook from frozen to a light golden color. Do not overcook. If defrosted, use immediately.- Air Fryer (recommended): Preheat air fryer to 400°F. Fill air fryer basket with a single layer of frozen hashbrown sticks. Cook for 8 – 10 minutes or to a light golden color. Note: Air fryer appliances may vary in temperature and cook times.
Oven:
Preheat oven to 425°F. Spread frozen hashbrown sticks in a single layer on a nonstick baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes. Flip hashbrown sticks and continue baking for 8 – 12 minutes or to a light golden color.
Deep Fryer:
Preheat oil to 350°F. Place frozen hashbrown sticks in the fryer basket. Do not fill basket more than half full. Carefully lower basket into hot oil. Fry for 2 ¾ – 3 minutes or to a light golden color. Shake basket frequently for best results.
