    Keep frozen at 0°F or below. Do not refreeze. For safety and quality, cook vegetables to 165°F prior to consumption.
  • Stovetop:
    Place frozen okra in boiling water and return to a boil. Cook uncovered for appropriate time or until tender. Drain and season to taste. Do not overcook.

    For 2 cooked cups: Use 1 cup water and cook for 3 - 4 minutes
    For 4 cooked cups: Use 2 cups water and cook for 6 - 7 minutes

    Microwave:
    Place frozen okra and water in a microwave-safe bowl and cover plastic wrap. Cook for appropriate time or to desired tenderness, stirring halfway through cooking time. Drain and season to taste. Do not overcook.

    For 2 cooked cups: Use 2 Tbsp water and cook for 4 - 5 minutes
    For 4 cooked cups: Use 1/4 cup water and cook for 5 - 7 minutes
