Ingredients
Okra.Allergens and safety warnings
Keep frozen at 0°F or below.- Stovetop:
Bring 2 cups water to a boil over high heat. Add frozen okra and return to a boil. Cook uncovered for 3 - 4 minutes or until tender. Drain and season to taste. Do not overcook.
Microwave:
To cook half package: Place frozen okra and 2 Tbsp water in a microwave-safe bowl and cover with plastic wrap. Cook on HIGH for 4 - 5 minutes, stirring halfway through cooking time. Drain and season to taste. To cook whole package, use 1/4 cup water and cook for 8 - 9 minutes. Microwaves do vary; adjust cooking time as necessary.
