Remove Chorizo from casing and add to a large pan over medium-high heat. Stir to break apart meat and cook for 7 to 9 minutes or until chorizo is browned and fully cooked. 2. Cube H-E-B Easy Melt Queso Blanco. Add Cubed Cheese and 10 Oz Can of Hill Country Fare Diced Tomatoes & Green Chiles (Original, Mild or Extra Hot) to large cooking pot over medium heat. Stir frequently while melting – For thinner Queso Dip, Puree tomatoes and chiles (optional). 3. Continue heating until cheese is fully melted and warm. Once melted, add cooked Chorizo, diced Jalapeno and diced Onion – Top Queso with chopped Avocado (optional). 4. Serve with fresh H-E-B Tortilla Chips INSIDE BOX: Recipe Header Name: Bacon and Shallot Grilled Cheese Cook Time Minutes: 15 Prep Time Minutes: 15 Servings: 4 Ingredients 12 Oz bacon, cut into approximately 1-inch slices or bigger chunks 1 cup shallots, julienned or thinly sliced 1 Tbsp sherry vinegar 1 loaf of H-E-B Naturally Leavened Rosemary Sourdough Golden Grain Bread, sliced as needed for sandwiches, from the Bakery 8 Oz H-E-B Easy Melt Queso Blanco, sliced thin, plus more as needed Instructions Place a large non-stick pan set over medium-high heat, add bacon and cook 3 to 5 minutes to allow some fat to render off. Add shallots and lower heat to medium. Continue to cook until bacon is just starting to get crispy. Add vinegar to deglaze pan and continue to cook until vinegar has evaporated. Turn off heat and allow mixture to cool. Butter each slice of bread on both sides, repeat with any additional slices. Place a few slices of EZ melt on each slice of bread. To assemble each sandwich, spoon some bacon mixture evenly onto a slice of bread, top with a buttered slice of bread and press sandwich hard to make sure everything is tight before cooking. Add oil and sausage to a large pan over medium-high heat. Stir to break apart meat and cook for 7 to 9 minutes or until sausage is browned and fully cooked. 2. Add onion and bell pepper. Sauté for 5 to 6 minutes, or until onion starts to soften. Reduce heat to medium. 3. Add green chilies, easy melt cheese, cream cheese, milk, stock and green sauce. Stir frequently while melting. 4. Continue heating through until cheese is fully melted and warm. Add tomatoes and fresh cilantro, and stir through just before serving. 5. Serve warm with fresh tortilla chips.
