  • Coat 2 lb cubed beef stew meat with 3 tbsp flour. Heat 2 tbsp oil in large skillet or Dutch oven over medium heat. Brown beef on all sides; drain. Add seasoning mix and 3 cups water. Bring to a boil. Cover and reduce heat. Simmer until tender, approximately 1-1.5 hours. Add 5 cups cut vegetables. We suggest potatoes, carrots, celery and onion! Cover and simmer until vegetables are tender (approx. 45-60 minutes), stirring occasionally. Thicken soup with flour, if desired.
