    CONTAINS 16 OF THE FOLLOWING VARIETIES: LARGE LIMA BEANS, SMALL WHITE BEANS, RED KIDNEY BEANS, BABY LIMA BEANS, GREAT NORTHERN BEANS, GARBANZO BEANS, BLACK BEANS, PINTO BEANS, CRANBERRY BEANS, PINK BEANS, WHOLE GREEN PEAS, YELLOW SPLIT PEAS, LENTILS, GREEN SPLIT PEAS, SMALL RED BEANS, NAVY BEANS, BLACKEYE PEAS, SEASONING (ONION, SPICES, SALT, GARLIC, NATURAL FLAVORING [HYDROLYZED CORN GLUTEN, YEAST EXTRACT, SAFFLOWER OIL, LACTIC ACID]).

    Allergens and safety warnings

    Beans are a natural agricultural product. Despite use of modern cleaning equipment, it is not always possible to remove all foreign material. Sort and rinse beans before cooking.
  • Quick Soak: Sort beans, rinse, place in an 8 quart pot, and add 8 cups of hot water. Bring to a boil, boil for 2 minutes, remove from heat, cover pot and soak 1 hour. Drain soak water and rinse beans. Overnight Soak: Sort beans, rinse, place in an 8 quart pot, and add 6-8 cups of cold water. Let stand overnight for at least 6-8 hours. Drain soak water and rinse beans. Cooking Directions: Prep Time: 5 minutes, Cook Time: 2 hours. Place soaked beans in an 8 qt pot, add 8 cups water and seasoning packet. Bring to a boil over medium heat, reduce heat to low and cook for 2 hours or until desired tenderness is reached. For Extra Flavor: Stir-fry 1/4 pound of lean ham for 3 minutes. Add to the beans at the beginning of above cooking directions along with 1 can (14.5oz) diced tomatoes with juice. Cook as directed. Makes 16 3/4 cup servings.
