Description
GTC Heavy Duty Brake Fluid is designed specifically to perform in today's extreme temperatures braking systems. It is recommended for use in all hydraulic drum and disc brakes and hydraulic clutches that require Dot 3 fluids. Will mix with regular Dot 3 brake fluids and provides excellent flow at low temperatures. Dot 3 Motor Vehicle Brake Fluid: Complies with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 571.116. Surpasses SAE J1703 specifications. Minimum wet boiling point 284 degrees F.
Allergens and safety warnings
Harmful if swallowed, Eye irritant. Read carefully cautions on back. Contains polyaklylene glycol ethers. Avoid eye and skin contact. Do not breathe vapors. Use in well ventilated area. For eye contact, immediately flush with water for 15 minutes. If irritation persists, contact a physician. If on skin, remove contaminated clothing and wash exposed skin throughly with soap and water. If irritation develops and persists, contact a physician. If swallowed, do not induce vomiting. Immediately call a Poison Control Center or hospital emergency room. Important: Avoid spilling on brake lining or brake parts. This fluid will damage car finish. Keep out of reach of children and animals.- (1) Follow vehicle manufacturer's recommendations when adding brake fluid. (2) Keep brake fluid clean and dry. Contamination with dirt, water, petroleum products or other materials may result in brake failure or costly repairs. (3) Store brake fluid only in its original container. Keep container clean and tightly closed to prevent absorption of moisture. (4) Caution: Do not refill container and do not use for other liquids. (5) Do not accept this container if the inner seal is not intact. (6) Check brake fluid reservoir once a month or every 2,000 miles.
