Oats; 1/2 cup. Salt, Optional; 1/8 teaspoon. Cinnamon, Optional; To taste. Sugar: To taste. Stove Top: 1 Serving: Water or milk (Use less water or milk for thicker oatmeal or more water or milk for thinner oatmeal); 1 cup. Oats; 1/2 Cup. Salt, Optional; 1/8 teaspoon. Cinnamon, Optional; To taste. Sugar: To taste. 2 Servings: Water or milk (Use less water or milk for thicker oatmeal or more water or milk for thinner oatmeal); 1-3/4 cup. Oats; 1 Cup. Salt, Optional; 1/4 teaspoon. Cinnamon, Optional; To taste. Sugar: To taste. Microwave Directions: Combine water or milk, oats, salt, cinnamon and sugar in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave on high 2 to 3 minutes. Remove from microwave oven; mix well. Stove Top Directions: Bring water or milk, salt, cinnamon and sugar to a rolling boil. Stir in oats, reduce to medium heat and cook 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Cover; remove from heat and serve in 2-3 minutes. Keep in a cool, dry place.
