Description

Mild and slightly sweet, jicama is a root vegetable that’s crunchy and watery, much like a water chestnut. Since its creamy-colored exterior is too thick for peeling, it’s recommended to use a knife for removing its skin. Sprinkle some julienned jicama over a salad, or slice into thin discs for a unique cracker substitution.
