Organic Butternut Squash.- Easy Ways To Prepare: Keep frozen until ready to use. Once thawed, do not refreeze. For safety, follow these cooking instructions. Microwave (For food safety and quality, cook to an internal temperature of 165 degrees F. Cooking times may vary depending on power of microwave and type of container used. Adjust time and heat settings as necessary. To retain highest quality and texture, do not overcook): (For best results): 1. Place frozen butternut squash in a microwave-safe 1 quart casserole dish. 2. Add 2 tablespoons water and cover. 3. Heat on high for 4-5 minutes, stirring halfway through cooking time. 4. Let stand 1 minute before serving. Stove Top (For food safety and quality, cook to an internal temperature of 165 degrees F. Cooking times may vary depending on power of microwave and type of container used. Adjust time and heat settings as necessary. To retain highest quality and texture, do not overcook): 1. Bring 1/4 cup water to a boil in a 3-quart saucepan. 2. Place frozen butternut squash in boiling water. Cover and boil for 4-5 minutes. 3. Drain and serve. Keep frozen. Once thawed, do not refreeze.
