Contains wheat, milk. Manufactured on equipment that also processes peanuts and tree nuts (walnuts).- Makes 18 brownies. Makes 16 brownies. You Will Need (for Fudgy Brownies): 1 Egg; 1 Tablespoon water; 1/4 Cup oil. For Cake-Like Brownie: 1 Egg; 1/4 Cup oil. 1. Prep: Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. (325 degrees F for glass, dark or non-stick pans.) Grease bottom of 8 x 8 or 9 x 9-inch pan with shortening or spray with cooking spray. 2. Mix: Stir brownie mix, 1 egg, 1 tablespoon water, and 1/4 cup oil in Medium bowl until well blended (about 50 strokes). Spread in greased pan. Stir marble swirl mix, 1 egg, and 1/4 cup oil in medium bowl until smooth. Drop by spoonfuls onto brownie batter. Swirl together with a knife or spatula. 3. Bake: Bake following times below. Add 3 - 5 minutes to bake time for glass, dark or non-stick pans. Brownies are done when toothpick inserted 1 inch from the edge comes out clean. Pan Size/Bake Time: 8 x 8 inch/33 - 37 minutes; 9 x 9 inch/28 - 32 minutes. Cool completely in pan before cutting and serving. For an extra special treat, frost brownies with your favorite Duncan Hines Creamy Home-Style Frosting. High Altitude (Over 3500 ft): Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Stir 1 tablespoon flour into each packet of mix and prepare according to above directions.
