Description
Complicated Chardonnay wine is sourced from Monterey County and is an approachable white wine that intrigues with old world elegance. Flavors offer bright, crisp green apple dipped in white chocolate, sweet white peach, lime juice and a hint of vanilla and subtle oak. Beautiful golden straw in color, this Chardonnay is a white wine that has inviting aromas of pear, melon, floral notes, brioche bread and crème brulee, framed by lemon and baking spices. The palate of this wine has a creamy texture and round smooth lingering finish. A smooth, mellow, medium finish makes this a great, food friendly Chardonnay wine that pairs well with cheese, fruit and nut-based charcuterie board, simple pastas with butter, pepper and lemon or a light, flaky white fish. Once fermentation was complete, the highest quality lots were blended and aged to ensure the best aromatic and structural components worked in harmony.
