Saute Pan is made from 5 layers of metal, including a responsive copper core that heats _ and cools _ evenly to help maintain a more consistent temperature across the entire pan. The copper core is surrounded by two inner layers of aluminum, while stainless steel outer layers create a beautiful, durable surface that is dishwasher safe. With a flat-bottom design, Calphalon saute pans are ideal for searing and browning meats, fish and poultry. Low sides allow air to circulate so that foods remain crisp, yet are high enough to prevent splattering and contain juices or poaching liquids. Includes tempered glass cover.
