Description

Rising high above our historic brewery, the old brick smokestack has stood silent but faithful watch through decades of rapid and often extraordinary change. When the addition of a new brew house allowed us to fulfill our long-held dream of crafting a line of bold new beers, it seemed only fitting to call it the Smokestack Series. Modern riffs on traditional styles, the series is alive and evolving, changing as our brewers continue to explore the more esoteric realms of their craft. Look for Smokestack year-round, seasonal, and limited release beers in these four-packs and in 750 ml bottles. Cheers! It seems that most breweries have at least one piece of equipment - a pump, say, or a heat-exchanger - that's jut a bit persnickety. At Boulevard, we've got fermenter number seven, the black sheep of our cellar family. Ironically, when our brewers were developing variations on a traditional Belgian-style farmhouse ale, the perfect combination of elements came together in that very vessel. You could call it fate, but the brewers called it Tank 7, and so it is. Starting with a flavorful surge of fruity aromatics and big hop and grapefruit notes, this very complex, straw-colored ale tapers to a dry, lingering peppery finish. Boulevard Brewing Company was founded in 1989 to revive the proud heritage of beer making in our hometown, providing fresh, flavorful beers to the Midwest and beyond. The finest traditional ingredients and the best of both old and new brewing techniques come together to produce what we believe is a remarkably good beer. We hope you'll agree. 100% enjoyable. 100% recyclable. Boulevard Brewing Company is a proud partner of ripple glass.
