Contains wheat, almond, milk; may contain soy, brazil nuts, cashews, filbert/hazelnut, macadamia nuts, peanuts, pecans, pistachio nuts, walnuts and coconut ingredients.- Do not open the bag of grains! (If the bag of grains was opened before cooking, follow these directions: heat 5 cups water to boiling in 3-quart (or larger) saucepan. Pour grains into water and reduce heat to prevent boil over. Gently boil uncovered 17 minutes, stirring frequently. Carefully drain in a fine-mesh strainer to retain smaller grains. Gently rinse under cold running water until grains are cold. Drain well. Do not microwave. You Will Need: 1 tablespoon olive or vegetable oil. 1 tablespoon cold water. 1. Fill 3-quart (or larger) saucepan half full with water; heat to boiling. Carefully place unopened bag of grains in water. Gently boil uncovered 17 minutes, turning bag once. (Cooked grains will fill bag.) 2. Stir together dressing mix, oil and cold water in medium bowl. Set aside. 3. Carefully drain cooking water and bag in colander. Caution: Hot! Rinse unopened bag under cold running water 1 to 2 minutes, turning bag, until grains are cold. Let water drain from bag until dripping stops. 4. Cut bag open. Stir grains into dressing. Stir in cranberries & almonds. Serve immediately, or refrigerate. (If desired, stir in a few teaspoons more oil to moisten refrigerated salad.) Refrigerate leftovers.
