  • You Will Need: Your favorite fresh or frozen fruit to yield 4 cups crushed (for best results, use apricots, berries, cherries, grapes, pears, plums and most other tender fruit. For peaches, follow peach Freezer Jam recipe below. ); 1-1/2 cups sugar or Splenda no calorie sweetener, granular; 5 Ball plastic (8 oz) freezer jars. Guide to Buying Fresh or Frozen Fruits (thaw frozen fruit in refrigerator just until soft enough to crush): Fruit: Strawberry, Fresh: 4 1-lb containers, Unsweetened Frozen: 3 12-oz bags. Fruit: Peach, Fresh: 12 medium, Unsweetened Frozen: 3 16-oz bags. Fruit: Raspberries, Fresh: 6 6-oz containers, Unsweetened Frozen: 3 12-oz bags. 1. Stir sugar and contents of package in a bowl until well blended. 2. Stir in 4 cups crushed fruit. Stir 3 minutes longer. 3. Ladle jam into clean jars to fill line. Twist on lids. Let stand until thickened, about 30 minutes. Enjoy now - refrigerate up to 3 weeks. Freeze up to 1 year.
