Cultivated at high altitude in volcanic soils in the Andes Mountains of Southeast Colombia, Nariño coffee is distinguished by its sweetness, medium body and pronounced aroma.
About the Brand:
The roots of our corporation, Eximius Coffee, can be traced back to 1920s Spain, when our founder, Carlos de Aldecoa Fernandez (born in Ronda, 1905), started a small coffee roaster in Madrid. During the 1980's his son, Carlos de Aldecoa Pereda, opened a roasting facility in Houston. There, the business grew to include coffee farming, roasting, retailing, and decaffeination. Today, de Aldecoa-Pereda, his son and 4 daughters work in the business. Locally made in Texas, the company has been family owned and operated for three generations.
