How long does the giveaway last?

The giveaway starts February 10, 2025, and ends on June 9, 2025. That is 120 days of prizes!

What can I win?

A year of free groceries from H‑E‑B! There will be one winner for each day of the giveaway.

How do I enter?

It’s easy! When making a purchase at in-store checkout, simply open your My H‑E‑B app and tap the barcode icon in the top right corner of your home screen, or tap on the savings tab. Show the barcode to the H‑E‑B Partner during your checkout, or scan it yourself if using self-checkout. Or you can enter your phone number at checkout when making an in-store purchase if your number is connected to your My H‑E‑B account and verified. When you use your My H‑E‑B account for curbside or delivery orders, you will receive an entry on the day of pickup or delivery. You can also enter without a purchase by mail.

You can enter the giveaway once per day. When you use your My H‑E‑B account to enter, the holder of the account receives the entry. Only one account can be used per transaction.

How do I find the in-store barcode in the My H‑E‑B app?

First, log in to your H‑E‑B account in the My H‑E‑B app. Then, tap the barcode icon in the top right corner of the home screen or by visiting the savings tab. If you’re having trouble, just ask an H‑E‑B Partner for help.

I don’t have the My H‑E‑B app. How do I get it?

The My H‑E‑B app is available for iOS and Android devices. Download the app from the Apple App store or Google Play store.

Do I need an H‑E‑B account to enter?

An H‑E‑B account is required to create and scan your unique in-store barcode. Or you can enter by mail without an H‑E‑B account.

What does the number of entries shown in my App mean?

Throughout the duration of the giveaway, the total number of entries you’ve received through the App will show below the in-store barcode in the My H‑E‑B app. You can also find this number on the Big Thanks Texas Giveaway info page in the My H‑E‑B app or heb.com. Entries shown include entries for past drawings and may not reflect any entry for today’s drawing. Entries may not show immediately but will be updated within 24 hours of your entry. Entry counts shown are unofficial. All entries are subject to verification and eligibility.

At what stores can I receive entries?

You’ll receive up to one entry a day when you make a purchase at store checkout lines at H‑E‑B or H‑E‑B Plus stores, or when you enter by mail. Transactions at H‑E-B Pharmacy, gas stations, and restaurants are not included. Transactions at Mi Tienda, Central Market, and Joe V’s SmartShop do not qualify.

How will I know if I’m a winner?

Winners will receive an email or phone call at the email address or phone number associated with their H‑E‑B account, or as reflected on their mail-in entry.
