H-E-B HOT DOGS SWEEPSTAKES – GULF COAST
OFFICIAL RULES

1. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN.  A PURCHASE DOES NOT CHANGE YOUR ODDS OF WINNING.  VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.  Sweepstakes period begins 5/7/2008.  Sweepstakes period ends on 6/3/2008 and entries must be received by 6/10/2008.
2. Eligibility.  Sweepstakes open to all legal residents of Texas, age 18 or older on date of entry, except for employees and principals (and members of their immediate families or households) of HEB Grocery Company, LP (H-E-B or Sponsor), its subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotional agencies, and prize suppliers.
3. How to enter.  Complete Official Entry Form (available at the display near the H-E-B Hot Dog section or at www.heb.com) or handprint your name, address, ZIP code, daytime telephone and date of birth on a 3” x 5” card.  Mail your entry form to H-E-B Hot Dog Sweepstakes – Gulf Coast, Attn. Market Own Brand Navy 3, P.O. Box 839999, San Antonio, Texas 78283-3999.  Enter as often as you wish, but each entry must be in a separate outer envelope.  No mechanically- or electronically-reproduced entries permitted.  Sponsor not responsible for lost, stolen, misdirected, incomplete, illegible, damaged, late, or postage-due entries.  All entries become the property of the Sponsor and will not be returned.
4. Prizes.  Grand Prize (one available): Four (4) tickets to a selected Corpus Christi Hooks game, one (1) Corpus Christi Hooks autographed baseball bat, the opportunity to throw the ceremonial first pitch, run the bases and the opportunity make an on-air appearance during the live radio broadcast of the game.  Approximate retail value (ARV): $500.00.  First Prize (two available): Four (4) game tickets per winner for a Corpus Christi Hooks game (ARV): $50.00 per prize.  For ARV and substitution purposes, no monetary value is associated with ceremonial first pitch, running the bases, radio appearance, or autographs.  Date of games and location of seats determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion.  Sponsor assumes no responsibility for cancelled, delayed, suspended or rescheduled events beyond its control.  Prize does not include transportation or accommodations.  All expenses not specifically described are the responsibility of the winner. Prize is non-transferable, non-substitutable, and may not be redeemed for cash.  Sponsor reserves the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater monetary value. All taxes are the responsibility of the winner.  Odds of winning depend on number of eligible entries received.
5. Winners.  Winning entries will be selected from among all eligible entries received in a random drawing by H-E-B, whose decisions are final in all matters relating to the sweepstakes.  Drawings will take place on or about June 11, 2008 at San Antonio, Texas.  Winners will be notified by mail.  Any prize notification returned to Sponsor as undeliverable will result in forfeit of prize and an alternate winner will be selected.  Winners will be required to complete an affidavit of eligibility and liability/publicity release within 14 days of prize notification or prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner selected. 
6. Other.  Sweepstakes void where prohibited and subject to all applicable laws and regulations.  Entry and acceptance of prize constitutes agreement to be bound by the Official Rules, permission to use the winner’s name, and likeness, for advertising and promotion without further compensation, and a release of Sponsor and its affiliates, directors, officers, shareholders, employees, agents and promotional agencies, from any and all claims or liability arising out of participation in Sweepstakes or acceptance or use of prize.  Invalidity of any provision of the Official Rules shall not affect any other portion thereof.  Sponsor reserves right to change Official Rules or cancel Sweepstakes without notice.
7. Winner List.  To obtain a list of winners and prizes received, send a self-addressed stamped envelope to: H-E-B Hot Dog Sweepstakes – Gulf Coast Winner’s List, Attn. Own Brand Market – Navy 3, 646 South Main Avenue, San Antonio, Texas 78204.
