H-E-B BRAVO 2X WASHER & DRYER SWEEPSTAKES
OFFICIAL RULES

1. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN.  VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.  Sweepstakes period begins 4/30/08 and ends 6/14/08.
   
   
2. Eligibility.  Sweepstakes open to all legal residents of Texas, age 18 or older on date of entry, except for employees and principals (and members of their immediate families or households) of HEB Grocery Company, LP (“H-E-B” or “Sponsor”), its subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotional agencies, and prize suppliers.
   
   
3. How to enter in-store.  Ninety-five (95) Grand Prizes will be awarded through in-store drawings at participating H-E-B stores.  To enter, obtain an Official Entry Form during the in-store event, handprint your name, address, ZIP code, daytime/evening telephone and date of birth, and deposit the form in the designated receptacle no later than the posted deadline.  Limit one entry per person per day.  Each participating store will hold one in-store event to occur 5/3-4/08, 5/10/08, 5/17/08, or 5/24/08.  See Business Center, in-store announcements, or www.heb.com for participation and each store’s event date.
   
   
4. How to enter by mail.  Five (5) Grand Prizes will be awarded through a mail-in drawing.  To enter, complete Official Entry Form found in your H-E-B Showtime circular or handprint your name, address, ZIP code, daytime/evening telephone and date of birth on a 3” x 5” card and mail to H-E-B Bravo 2X Washer & Dryer Sweepstakes, P.O. Box 150869, Arlington, TX 76015.  Mail-in entries must be received by 6/14/08.  Enter by mail as often as you wish, but each entry must be in a separate outer envelope. 
   
   
5. Using either entry method, no mechanically- or electronically-reproduced entries permitted.  Sponsor not responsible for lost, stolen, misdirected, incomplete, illegible, damaged, late, or postage-due entries.  All entries become the property of the Sponsor and will not be returned.
   
   
6. Prizes.  One hundred (100) Grand Prizes:  A washer/dryer set.  Approximate retail value (ARV):  $1,798.  Washer/dryer set selected by Sponsor in its sole discretion and may be awarded in form of actual merchandise, merchandise voucher or gift card for consumer appliance retailer, which may be subject to applicable terms and conditions.  Delivery, installation, haul-away, taxes, any expenses associated with redemption or use of prize, and all other expenses not specifically described herein are the responsibility of the winner.  Prizes are non-transferable, non-substitutable, and may not be redeemed for cash.  Sponsor reserves right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value. 
   
   
7. Winners.  Winners at in-store promotions will be selected by H-E-B from among all eligible entries received at the applicable store.  In-store drawing will take place at or about 4:00 p.m. on last day of that store’s event, subject to schedule posted at store.  Winner need not be present to win in-store drawing.  Winning mail-in entries will be selected from among all eligible entries received in a random drawing by an independent agency, whose decisions are final in all matters relating to the sweepstakes.  Drawing from mail-in entries will take place on or about June 20, 2008 atKennedale, Texas.  All winners will be notified by mail.  Any prize notification returned to Sponsor as undeliverable will result in forfeit of prize and an alternate winner will be selected.  Winners will be required to complete an affidavit of eligibility and liability/publicity release within 14 days of prize notification or prize will be forfeit and an alternate winner selected.  If necessary, alternate winners may be selected from any pool of eligible entries.
   
   
8. Odds of winning.  Odds of winning in-store event depend on number of eligible entries received at that store.  Odds of winning mail-in drawing depend on number of eligible entries received by mail.  Purchase will not change odds of winning. 
   
   
9. Other.  Sweepstakes void where prohibited and subject to all applicable laws and regulations.  Entry and acceptance of prize constitutes agreement to be bound by the Official Rules, permission to use the winner’s name and/or likeness for advertising and promotion without further compensation, and a release of Sponsor and its affiliates, directors, officers, shareholders, employees, agents and promotional agencies, from any and all claims or liability arising out of participation in Sweepstakes or acceptance or use of prize.  Invalidity of any provision of the Official Rules shall not affect any other portion thereof.  Sponsor reserves right to change Official Rules or cancel Sweepstakes without notice.
   
   
10. Winner List.  To obtain a list of winners and prizes received, send a self-addressed stamped envelope to: Tierney and Associates, Inc, 614 North Road, Kennedale, Texas 76060 no later than 6/14/2008.
