recipe categories / sides and vegetables / potatoes Roasted Sweet Potatoes and Apples Courtesy of My H-E-B Texas Life Magazine Ingredients: 3 pounds sweet potatoes or yams, peeled and cut into 1-inch round slices 1 pound Granny Smith apples, peeled, cored, and sliced 1 cup chopped sweet yellow onions 2 tablespoons finely chopped fresh ginger 4 tablespoons H-E-B Butter 1/4 cup H-E-B Blossom Honey 1/4 teaspoon Central Market® Organics Ground Cinnamon 1/4 teaspoon Central Market® Organics Cayenne Pepper salt Directions: 1. Heat oven to 450°F. Line a roasting pan with foil and spray with nonstick cooking spray. 2. Combine all ingredients in a large bowl and season to taste with salt. Spread mixture in prepared roasting pan and roast for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes. |
