With “Joy to the World” playing in the background and maybe even Jack Frost nipping at your nose, the only thing left to make your winter wonderland merry and bright is a special holiday wreath. Here’s some inspiration for bedecking your doors—and walls and doorknobs—to fill your home with plenty of good tidings and cheer.

Sugarplum Fairies & Bubblegum Wreath
Take a ready-made pine wreath and attach bright, colorful gumballs—we chose jumbo, but any size will do—with a hot glue gun. Then fasten on a festive bow with wire to top it off. Be sure to keep it out of reach of curious kiddos.
Get creative and try mini candy canes, frosted gumdrops, or even colorful ribbon candy on this sweet wreath.

Ring around the Rosemary
Fashion a wire into a small circle and secure sprigs of rosemary and thyme to the circular frame with more wire. Then glue the herb frame onto fun cut-out photos of everyone in the family. Embellish the frames with festive ribbon and beads. Arrange on a wall or over the mantel.
Keep the herbs fresh and green by submerging the cut ends in a glass of water as you’re crafting each little wreath.

Sleigh Bells Ring
Take an elastic band, about a foot in length, and string bells on it. Tie the ends together and trim off any excess elastic. Double the strand into a ring and fasten a red (or green) ribbon to it. Make sure the elastic is tight enough to fit snugly on your doorknob.
Experiment with materials other than bells. Try stringing a few strands of cranberries and tying it all together with a dark green velvet bow.

Ribbons & Bows
Start with a Styrofoam ring—or any type of lightweight ring—and wrap different patterned and colored ribbons in single random spots. Tuck in the edges and pin on the back side of the ring. Allow the ends of the last two ribbons to dangle, cut the edges into two points, and add a bow to finish.
Use ribbons in different shades of a color—various greens or ivories and whites—for a creative twist on this wreath idea.
