Independence Day is the only national holiday that celebrates The United States. It’s our opportunity to show our patriotism and celebrate what we love about this great country. On July 4, 1776, our forefathers adopted the Declaration of Independence which established the first thirteen colonies as independent from the Kingdom of Great Britain. This was the first of many actions that created The United States of America.
Show your red, white and blue pride this July 4th with a special feast for your Independence Day Celebration. Texans celebrate Independence Day like no others with huge family gatherings, picnics, outdoor grill parties and, of course, fireworks displays. Use these colorful recipes from HEB.com to make this year your most patriotic yet.
