Dr. Fernando Guerra from the San Antonio Metropolitan Health District will be at
H-E-B to share information with the community on the importance of focusing on the health and well-being of children and families in San Antonio and surrounding areas.  In conjunction with this, Dr. Guerra will invite the community to attend the 2nd Annual Healthy Baby and Child Expo, March 3 – 4, at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center to gain valuable information on a variety of parenting resources including healthcare options.  

The expo will be held March 3 – 4 at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center and fill feature health screenings for families, educational seminars, cooking demonstrations, interactive activities and entertainment. The expo will also provide nutrition tips and information on pre and post natal fitness.

Heidi Murkoff, co-author of the country's leading pregnancy and parenting series, What to Expect, will be the expo’s special guest and will speak on Saturday, March 3. The expo is being presented by H-E-B, Baptist Health System and San Antonio Metropolitan Health District.
