SAN ANTONIO, TX – Jan. 30, 2008 –With a hint of old Hollywood glamour and nostalgia, Eva The 60-second commercial will air regionally during the big game and will repeat throughout the year in both 60 and 30-second versions. It highlights the many features of H-E-B Plus!, the company’s latest store format which combines non-traditional offerings such as electronics, cook and grill, party planning and supplies, do-it-yourself and a garden center with H-E-B’s outstanding services and product freshness and selection. Longoria Parker donated the entire fee from the commercial’s filming to her non-profit foundation, Eva’s Heroes. The foundation was founded by the actress in 2007 and is dedicated to providing an inclusive setting for individuals with developmental disabilities to interact, grow, learn, love and develop with their peers. “As a native Texan, I grew up with H-E-B and still look forward to shopping there when I come home,” said Longoria Parker. “H-E-B is a great company that does fantastic things in our community and I’m proud to work with them and support a cause that is dear to my heart.” The commercial was filmed at an H-E-B Plus! store in San Antonio and is a follow-up to the company’s widely successful spot that aired during the last Super Bowl and starred another Texas native and favorite, Emmitt Smith. “We love the fact that Eva is a Texan and loyal H-E-B shopper and are thrilled to have her join the H-E-B team. We are especially excited about the opportunity to work with Eva and support the wonderful work her foundation is doing in the community,” said Cory Basso, H-E-B Group Vice President of Marketing and Advertising. “Her commitment to helping others aligns perfectly with About H-E-B
